It also helps with problems such as understanding time, spatial awareness and organisational skills.
The Raviv Practice London primarily uses the Raviv
Method - a motor sensory therapy renowned for helping
children and adults with a wide range of Learning Difficulties. This therapy is conducted on a one to one
basis and takes around 20 -24 weekly sessions. The aim of this therapy is to develop learning skills that
will enable the participant to progress in education.
The Raviv therapy is complemented by Fast ForWord -
educational software especially developed to improve four essential
cognitive skills; memory, attention, sequencing and processing all of which are required for language advancement. This software is designed to be used at home with a parent. Results of
the daily excercises are automatically forwarded to the practitioner who monitors progress carefully and provides support where required.
We also offer Cogmed - a research-based,
computerized training program designed by leading neuroscientists to
improve attention by effectively increasing working memory capacity
over a 5 week training period. This program is suitable for both children and
adults.
Our Goal
Children with learning difficulties can often feel isolated and lacking in confidence. At The Raviv Practice London we aim to build their confidence and make them feel happy about themselves and about learning. Both children and adults finish the programmes with a sense of real achievement with results being delivered in as little as 20 weeks. Read more...

"...We noticed a marked change at around 10 weeks and it was
inconceivable before this that my son would ever grasp the idea of
adding up simple sums let alone do his times tables. He started on 10s
and then 2s. I had tried previously to teach him to tell the time but
with no joy but three weeks later he started understanding basic time
telling concepts armed with his 5 times tables!....."
